I wrote the treatment and screenplay for this, pitched it to the client on a competitive basis and won. I storyboarded it, cast it, and worked side by side with the director and with the editor during shooting and post. I even wrote the bassline for the music!
CITY CHAT
These series of interviews serve as an integral launch component of CITYist.com, the stand-alone web destination I authored for CITY magazine.
As well as more conceptual art- and fashion-based content, we wanted to explore the idea of who and what constituted a Cityist. So we conceived a chat show where a member of the city's creative community, an "Architect of Influence," was driven from place A to place B (both of relevance to them) and on the way would be interviewed about their life and work, and also how they are inspired by, and how they inspire, the city that surrounds and fuels them.
CITY Chat is directed by Christian Dinh.
